It’s been a long time since I posted anything on my blog, though I kept updating projects pages. This year I intend to return with more awesomeness blogging about worldbuilding and science fiction in general. There’s a possibility of book reviews and other things, like indie author interviews. At least, that’s the plan and being somewhat lazy with social media I’d have to get my ass into gear to accomplish that.
Also, since I completed the Rjg Trilogy on February 15th 2025 and moved into revisions and edits stage, I hope to get it ready for publication at the end of the year, closer to Christmas (maybe earlier, but I’m just leaving myself more time to do things properly and without hurrying). It was a 9-year-and-4-months long journey to finish it and I can finally breathe without constantly stressing about the unfinished WIP. The story turned out much better than when I first outlined it back in late 2015. Moral of the story: outlines don’t work for me. I’m a hardcore pantser.
That doesn’t mean I don’t have anything else to write now. There’s still Falaha’s final story, Graveyard of the Gods, that sits at 38% and progresses at a slow pace. The story delves into deep cosmology of the series and ties up loose ends and hints from previous books. I plan to finish writing it this year and publish in 2026. After that, new projects await.
While I’m still in the stage of job hunting and have time on my hands, I shall focus on writing, beta-reading, and reading in general. I’m looking forward to an exciting and meaningful year, where I can utilize the unused potential.
